Another goal achieved for Sant’Anna School students who presented innovative ideas to international innovation competitions. The serious game “Musa”, which was designed as a pleasant learning tool for intuitive knowledge of music, has been awarded a special prize at the PoliHub Startup District&Incubator  of the Polytechnic University of Milan.

The “Musa” idea, which combines new technologies to teaching activities, to make lessons more engaging and easy to follow, was conceived by Christian Esposito, second year Economics student. The serious game Musa, is designed for children aged 4 – 11, using a music recognition software that identify any frequency produced by real musical instruments. In this way, teaching methods are associated with gaming experiences.

The Polytechnic University of Milan business incubator launched the call for ideas and “Musa” won the “Switch 2 Product” prize for participation in four-month of business acceleration program, also supported by specialist mentoring. Furthermore, the program provides access to finance supporting the market launch, with additional support in business development and consolidation through alternative sources of funding.
